Today we designed a helipad to land a drone on and we created a solid model by following the blueprint / engineer drawing. After spending a few days using the SolidWorks software, please explain any struggles that you have come across and how you were able to overcome these struggles.
I struggled in using the fillet because the measurements are different. I overcome this struggle with the help of Emily and James. There was a computer error and James fixed it.
Today I learned how to make my own nameplate. First I had to make a rectangle and fix the measurement for it to be the base. Then I had to make centered lines to make the holes. Then I had to extrude it and put my name on it which is a new thing I learned how to do today, to put text on a sketch in order to be able to put your name on the nameplate. Lastly I had to fillet the edges. Also today we started to sketch the base of the Hurco Ashtray.
