Today we were introduced to the assembly and part drawing functions within SolidWorks. Below, I will explain how both the assembly and part drawing processes work: I didn’t get to the assembly process yet. The part drawing process is complicated at first for a beginner. The instructions are very precise, you have to follow them carefully. I learned how to make holes in shapes which is called extrude cut. Also how to fillet which is basically smoothing the edges. Next class I would get to learned how to assemble the parts I sketched.
